Managing Director receives Owner Manager of the Year Award

Artius’ Managing Director, Paul Stokes was announced Queensland ‘Owner Manger of the Year’ at the 2014 Australian Institute of Management (AIM)  Excellence Awards, on Saturday 25 October in Brisbane.

Mr Stokes undertook an extensive interview process to be selected from a strong pool of entrepreneurs and successful business owners throughout Queensland.

The judging panel said “Paul demonstrated a winning blend of strategic leadership and management practices. He has true entrepreneurial passion balanced with a measured judicious approach. His interpersonal skills combined with his focus on future growth displayed a well balanced approach to process and people. His overall enthusiasm and evolution from practitioner to visionary business leader is clearly an inspiration and drives his business success.”

Mr Stokes said “I am very honoured to win this prestigious award. The Australian Institute of Management’s recognition of owner / managers is to be commended as they represent the engine room of Australian business.”

Mr Stokes will represent Queensland at the AIM Gala awards night in November 2014 as a finalist for Manager of the Year, Australia. The AIM Excellence Awards have been recognising inspirational, passionate and talented managers for over 20 years. 2014 represents the first time these prestigious awards have been offered nationally.
