Shayne Dearling, Key Account Manager 

As the Key Account Manager, Shayne is responsible for relationship management of key customer accounts such as the Qld Department of Justice and PHNs as well as our Business Associate Network. 

Shayne is a Registered Psychologist, holding the qualifications of a Bachelor of Psychology, first class honours in Psychology and postgraduate Masters Degree in Organisational Psychology, a Certificate IV in working with clients with Disabilities and undergraduate studies in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Helsinki in Finland. Shayne has worked in roles that are clinically and operational focused (including client facing work as a psychologist for 10+ years). Shayne has managed teams of Allied Health professionals in a variety of roles state-wide.  

Shayne is passionate about growing businesses through increasing allied health staff skills by finding the right balance between clinical and operational demands.


Preetha James, Employment Services Operations Manager

As the Employment Services Operations Manager, Preetha efficiently and effectively manages the Employment services division according to contractual requirements and as per the Australian Government Disability Services Standards.

Preetha came across to Artius with a Bachelor of Science qualification and a very successful career in Human Resources/Recruitment and leadership roles in Government, and Commercial organisations in  United Sates of America and Australasia.

Preetha is passionate about working in the employment services, leading and motivating a team in achieving high performance, quality and compliant results whilst achieving positive outcomes for the clients and the business.


Ben Howat, Health Operations State Manager

As Health Operations State Manager at  Artius, Ben is responsible for the overall delivery and growth of Health Services across the State.

Most recently, Ben was the State Manager for Primary Health Care in Queensland, looking after 15 multidisciplinary Medical Centres and conducting over 1.8 million consultations per year. Prior to that he has had numerous roles in Operations Management.

Ben has a very strong people focus and believe strongly in empowering and enabling frontline teams to deliver a great patient experience and outcomes and also rewarding individual and team success.  




Karla Orth, Customer Service State Manager

As our Customer Service State Manager, Karla will be responsible for our customer service experience and in particular our Total Contact Centre, and CIRAS customer
service functions.

Karla has a strong background in health operations with previous roles including Operations Manager for Hearing Centres and My Foot Dr Podiatry Clinics.

Karla has a Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resources and Behavioural Science.
