Artius Employment endorsed as a Corporate Champion

Artius Employment has been welcomed to the Australian Government’s Experience+ Corporate Champion program. The program aims to acknowledge employers who have a commitment to attract and retain mature aged employees (aged 45years and older).

Artius Employment General Manager, Rollie Pontigon says, “We are proud to be involved in this program. We understand mature aged people need to have equal job opportunities and that is why we encourage them to stay in a job they enjoy”.

Australia’s ageing population means, it is now more important than ever to have programs in place to support our ageing workforce. Artius has taken a public commitment to ensure mature aged people have the opportunity to pass their skills and knowledge onto others in the workplace.

Prior to being acknowledged as a Corporate Champion, Artius had a significant number of mature-age employees. Since becoming a member, we have continued to grow and today Artius Employment has nearly 40% of total employees in the 45years plus age cohort.

Not only does this program support mature-age community members, as an employer there are benefits to our business. Corporate champion providers are available to work closely with employers to develop strategies that will ensure the older generation’s skills and knowledge support our business practices.
