Artius health is pleased to announce that it has been appointed by the Central Queensland, Wide Bay, Sunshine Coast PHN to deliver an innovative Stepped Care model of Mental Health Services to clients across the PHN area for the period January 2018 to June 2019.
Our delivery model involves establishing a network of Business Associates across the PHN area, with whom we will work in close partnership to deliver these services and to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients. We are now inviting expressions of interest from capable, reliable, well qualified and dedicated mental health professionals interested in being part of our network; primarily for the delivery of moderate intensity mental health services.
We are seeking to establish a partner network across the PHN, but with particular emphasis on the following areas:
- Coolum beach
- Discovery Coast
- Gayndah / Mundubbera
- Gin Gin
- Hervey Bay
- Monto / Eidsvold
- Rockhampton / Allenstown
- Sunshine Beach
We are looking for Business Associates who can deliver services to the following priority cohorts:
- Mental Health services that are culturally appropriate and safe for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients
- Suicide Prevention services
- Child and Youth mental health services
- Mental Health services that are appropriate for LGBTIQ clients
What if I am a current contractor to Artius?
This is a new and quite different contract for Artius, and to deliver it, we need to establish a new and quite different Business Associate network. These new arrangements will supersede all current contractor relationships we hold – so if you are part of the Artius contractor network now, and you wish to continue beyond December this year, please apply through this process.
What You Get
Artius Business Associates will receive triaged referrals from our central intake and referral team and will be required to deliver appropriate, evidence based, recovery focussed interventions. You will also receive:
- Access to regular support from our experienced senior clinicians;
- Regular newsletters and updates;
- Access to ongoing professional development; and
- Access to our sophisticated technology platform to streamline referrals, reporting and invoicing
What We Need
In order to discharge our duty of care to the PHN and to its clients, we will undertake a credentialing process before any new Business Associate is added to our team. We will need you to submit information and work with us to confirm your qualifications and suitability to deliver services to the PHNs clients, and we will undertake a ‘scope of practice’ exercise that will confirm which types of clients we could refer to you.
We will work with our new Business Associates and facilitate access to up-skilling where possible, to enable you to deliver services to a wider range of clients.
All Artius Business Associates are required to enter into a formal contract with us, are subject to an ongoing credentialing process and must participate in a structured ‘Complaints and Clinical Incident’ process with us where required.
