Stepped Care: Psychological Services For Underserviced And Hard To Reach Groups

For people with moderate or severe mental health illness

  • Targeted to underserviced groups:
    • People living in Rural and Remote Regions
    • Culturally and Linguistically Diverse People
    • LBGTI community
    • Children
    • People at risk of suicide
    • Women with perinatal depression
    • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People

  • GP and Specialist primary referral pathway but provisional referrals available to facilitate access to services whilst arranging GP or specialist review

  • Delivered by qualified Mental Health Professionals, Psychologists, Mental Health Social Workers, Mental Health OTs, Mental Health Nurses, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners

  • Evidence-based psychological intervention, similar to ATAPS program 
    • Up to 18 individual sessions
    • Up to 12 group sessions
